Just Tri Me
In spite of my long-held conviction that I have zero athletic ability, in September 2008 I completed my first sprint triathlon.
The idea was to capitalize on a grueling training schedule and drop the remainder of my baby weight. Unfortunately, that didn’t quite happen.
But I did find that physically beating the crap out of myself on a regular basis felt pretty darned good. So in 2009, I’m going back for even more abuse – five sprint triathlons and a 10K, for starters.
And I’m going to get back into every last pair of pre-pregnancy pants, so help me god.
