Future lead-footed driver

While driving in what constitutes heavy traffic in suburban Denver:

CJ: Go faster, Mommy!

Me: I’m trying.

CJ: Try again!

My girls do that. They will pick some random other vehicle and want me to “beat” the other car. Considering there are only two highways with two lanes going thru our town and the rest is residential, drag racing according to the whims of a 3 and 5 year old is challenging.

I think I’ll blame video games for their obsession with speed. Yes….video games are to blame.

LOL – they’ve been riding with my husband. Do they know that yellow means “go faster”?

Too funny! A car IS a ride, right?

Today was just one of those kids saying the darndest things kind of a days. I’d love to get them together…

I have been collecting goofy conversations with my kiddos b/c yours have cracked me up so much. I used to do this more often, but then I went and pretended to be busy so I didn’t have to think that hard anymore.

This is hysterical. I get the same thing from Kenny.

Sounds like my backseat! Every time I stop the car, one or both of my twin daughters (2 yr old) yells out “Go, Mommy!” And they think they’re going to get to drive my 65 Mustang when they turn 16… hahhaa!
