Psych!
See this ultrasound shot?

Yeah, I don’t see a damn thing either. But apparently the doctor’s vision was a little blurry that day.

What a difference six weeks can make where it comes to identifying genitalia.
And other parts are a lot more recognizable too. Like legs…

and feet.

(How freaking cute is that foot?!)
He’s still a little skeletal, but I like this shot of him snuggling the placenta anyway.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to continue revising the contents of my Stylehive. Out with the pink, in with the blue!

Ooohhh!!! Two girls and then a boy (just like me!). Having that little guy rocks. OMG, I could eat mine up just about every day. Many congrats and that leg and foot picture almost made me wish for another (note the ‘almost’! LOL).

I knew it! I’m telling you I am psychic that way - go back and check out my reply to your comment on my Nightmare post about whether to have a 3rd child. Boys are fun and they sure do like their mommas!
September 10th, 2007 at 6:05 am
I thought you had found out the sex a bit early! I was due in Feb also and didn’t find out until the middle of September. Well, congrats on welcoming a little man into the family. Boys are fun, and if he’s anything like mine, very energetic! I’m sure he’ll keep his sisters on the run!
September 10th, 2007 at 7:03 am
Awww…this boy will be babied like no other. You won’t be able to help yourself. Congrats!
September 10th, 2007 at 7:46 am
well, after spending his life surrounded by big sisters, he’ll make some very lucky girl an excellent husband some day. (my sister-in-law can vouch for this.)
September 10th, 2007 at 7:48 am
HOORAY!!!!
K must be over the moon!
September 10th, 2007 at 8:04 am
Yay for little boys!

Hannah Anderssen is THE BEST place for little boy things.
Happy baby boy to you!
September 10th, 2007 at 10:39 am
Oddly enough, I looked at that first ultrasound, and thought, “But that looks like a boy.” And, forgetting the title of the post, proceeded to scrutinize it, trying (and failing) to convince myself it looked like a girl.
Then I read the rest of the post.
September 10th, 2007 at 11:00 am
It’s a BOY!! Congratulations Julie! Are the girls excited about having a baby brother yet? Yay!
September 10th, 2007 at 11:19 am
Congrats! But now what to do with all those pinj hand-me-downs?
September 10th, 2007 at 11:21 am
This kid is just MESSING with you in every way. But he’s adorable.
And I will send you a box of the “OMG it’s a BOY” clothes my mother rushed out and bought after Opie arrived.
September 10th, 2007 at 11:56 am
WOW! COngrats. When we found out we were having a boy our Ultrasound Dr was all like look! He’s definately a boy and I was all like Huh? Are we looking at the same picture? I love having a boy. I’m excited for you!
September 10th, 2007 at 12:01 pm
Congrats!
September 10th, 2007 at 12:09 pm
Cool! And congratulations!
September 10th, 2007 at 12:19 pm
That’s great! We were told we are having a boy three weeks ago but the doc said she’d check again a week from now just to be sure. I’ve resisted buying boy stuff just in case but it’s been difficult. Congratulations!
September 10th, 2007 at 12:50 pm
Hey! I’ve been away for a while and I came to say ‘hi’ and saw this! WOW, that’s great. My boy has me completely wrapped around his finger. He has been a whole different ball game than the girls, but it’s a good game!
September 10th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
Boys rock!
September 10th, 2007 at 1:33 pm
Congrats! I have to agree that the little foot is too freaking cute!
September 10th, 2007 at 2:00 pm
Oh wow! There are very few surprises left in the world these days. Save waiting until the baby is born to find out the gender, you just got a great one.
Of course now you can’t use quite as much of Tacy and CJ’s hand me downs.
September 10th, 2007 at 2:05 pm
What a cutie…
(the boy not the penis)
September 10th, 2007 at 2:11 pm
Wow! Congrats! Little boy bits to deal with, woohoo!! Hahaha.
Seriously though, this way you don’t have to worry about which direction to wipe in, heh.
What you will have to worry about is in six years, both girls ganging up on him and putting make-up and a dress on him … like we did to my brother. Evil, evil girls.
September 10th, 2007 at 3:43 pm
Congrats!
September 10th, 2007 at 4:53 pm
Sorry, girls, boys are WAY more cuddly.
Wahoooooooooooooo!
September 10th, 2007 at 5:03 pm
Aww, you have a tiny little wang growing inside you! Congratulations!
September 10th, 2007 at 5:52 pm
Holy crap! What a surprise!
Yay for having a boy join the family! You’ll have to tell me what that’s like.
September 10th, 2007 at 6:07 pm
Congrats Julie! And I agree with Mitzi, he will be a wonderful husband someday after being broken in by two big sisters!
September 10th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
Congratulations! That is so exciting! If you lived in MA, I would give you all my boys’ outgrown clothes.
September 10th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
Wonderbaby needs more boys in her posse, so this is good news.

Congratulations! Immediately remodel all bathrooms yellow, despite the fact that their little peckers have a zero factor clearance on toilet level, they still manage to miss!
Again, very happy for you, my boys bring me equal yet completely different joys and wonders than my girls. It’s a wonderful world.
September 14th, 2007 at 1:51 pm
Congratulations!!! I’m so out of the loop with my blog reading these days, I didn’t even know you were preggers. I will be watching with interest with your transition to 3 as I’m very much on the fence whether to go there!!!
