Who says having kids doesn’t bring you together?

Kyle is holding CJ.  She sees me approach and reaches out for me.  But instead of shifting out of his arms and into mine, she puts one hand on the back of his head and the other hand on the back of my head.  Then she pushes our heads together and makes kissing noises.

Romance facilitated by a toddler.  Ain’t life grand?

OMG – maybe she’s a born matchmaker! Keep an eye on her at playdates.

My daughter does this too…sort of. She reaches out for me when Daddy’s holding her, but keeps one arm around his shoulders, puts the other around mine, and pulls everyone in for a group hug. Aren’t they sweet? :)

Very, very cute. My youngest has taken to licking us when he is especially happy. Cute, but a bit messy.

I was waiting for you to say she made you two bonk heads. I’m a born cynic. And she’s a born sweetie.

Huh. My 2 y.o. saw me heading for my husband today for a little cuddle and he ran across the room, shouting, “noooo, mommy!” and wedged himself between our knees. Can you have CJ give him a call?

  7. prescott Says:

My 4-year-old does something similar to Alison’s daughter, except he drapes his arms around our necks more like one of those drunken “I love you guys!” moments.

  8. mayberry Says:

Maybe she wants a baby sister!

So cute. Much better than my daughter. When The Husband and I are talking (just normal stuff…about the day, news, whatever) she will stand up, with her hands on her hips and say “Guys, guys, please don’t fight.” Huh????????
