  2. oktree Says:

Don’t worry – it melts very quickly and you will not even realize it snowed by Wed or so.

    Holy cow!

  5. oktree Says:

Okay, so I look back and now I realize…you are sad due to your tree splitting. Poor tree.

  6. Elizabeth Says:

That must have been some heavy snow to split that tree branch like that. Are your kids excited about the snow?

  7. Zube Girl Says:

Heh. Nuts, isn’t it? I’d heard that the front range was going to get hit by this storm to. It’s crazy how much heavier earlier season snow is than midwinter snow. It looks like it’s broken your tree? That sucks.

Honestly, the snow will ‘lighten up’ around November. Bummer for the broken little guy, though.

  8. fancypants Says:

    Um, that’s just wrong.

  9. jenB Says:

I saw your state on the news. Wow. Snow angels in October!

I thought you were kidding until I noticed that your Flickr photos say they actually were taken yesterday (and that the kids are the same size they are now, not what they would have been a year ago.)

It is 80-plus here. And it wasn’t that much colder in NY and Conn this weekend.

    I am in SHOCK. ;-)

That poor little tree got hurt by that nasty snow! I knew there was a reason I didn’t like snow. It’s a bully!
